New Vision Ministries

Ministry Purposes

Beautification Ministry

The purpose of this ministry is to bring quiet beauty to our surroundings to enhance our worship service.  When we enter the sanctuary, we should feel a quiet and peaceful atmosphere to prepare our hearts and minds to be partakers of the worship experience. The Beautification Ministry is responsible for bringing beauty to the inside as well as the outside of the church.

Greeter’s Ministry

The Greeters Ministry is designed to serve God’s people by graciously greeting, directing and assisting them in a friendly and hospitable manner as they enter the sanctuary for worship. This ministry strives to make sure that all who enter are given gracious directions. This Ministry is the doorkeeper of God’s house.

Pastor Support Ministry

The purpose of the Pastor’s Support Ministry is to show appreciation to the Pastor for his leadership and spiritual guidance by providing assistance; financially, spiritually, and with constant prayer for him and his family as he fulfills the vision that has been given to him for the church.

It is our purpose to make sure that our Pastor is not forgotten throughout the year. We remember him on holidays, and especially on his birthday and the Anniversary of his Pastoralship. We never forget our Pastor is a gift from God and we want him to know we appreciate our gift. We lead in securing funds to make this possible

Men Ministry

The purpose of Men’s Ministry is to clarify the purpose and role of men in the community. The goal of this ministry is to build healthy relationships in the body of Christ, promote spiritual growth, unity and love.

Our mission is to encourage unity and fellowship, and to bring wholeness and balance to the lives of men by ministering to their mind, body and spirit. Together we empower men to fulfill God’s purpose for their lives.

The ultimate goal is to equip men to fulfill their role as watchmen over their homes, their church, their communities and their nations

To touch woman of all ages, races, denominations and every walk of life with the love and power of God.

To make a difference as well as to make an impact in our communities, nation and world.

Deacons are appointed and ordained by the Pastor. They assist by caring for the poor, the sick, the preparation and administration of the Ordinances; service of the Communion and Baptism; and in ministering to the spiritual interests of families in the Church and community. Jesus’ life is the model for the Deacon. In Mark 10:45, Jesus said, “I came not to be served, but to serve.” Deacons exist to serve God and the Church.

Media Ministry

The mission of the Audio/Video Tape ministry is to be empowered and led by the Holy Spirit to provide audio and video support to the Pastor, church and all ministries in order to enhance and edify the worship of God. We are spreading the Good News, reaching outside the church walls.

The purpose of the media ministry  is to bring worship services into homes not only in the area but also around the world.

The Media Ministry is responsible for the recording and distribution of tapes CDs and DVD messages for all services as directed by the Pastor. They make sure all the equipment is in working order and all supplies are available for a successful running ministry.

Benevolent Ministry

The purpose of the Benevolence Ministry is to demonstrate God’s love through

meeting the needs of people who are facing  difficulties. The Benevolence

Policy gives direction to this vital ministry. Our vision is to help people who are facing hard times due to external influences or bad life choices, but who have the potential and the desire to become responsible individuals. Our primary objective is to meet a person where he/she is and then help him/her identify and take steps that lead to independence

The basis of our policy is the teaching of Jesus in Luke 10:25 – 37  and

numerous other scriptures. In Luke, the Samaritan “put the man on his own donkey, took him to an inn and took care of him. The next day he took out two silver coins and gave them to the innkeeper.

“Look after him” he said, “and when I return, I will reimburse you for any extra expense you may have.” At the end of this passage, Jesus said, “Go and do likewise.”

This Scripture implies a personal and monetary investment of time and care, as well as an ongoing plan of action.  Our benevolence policy with this teaching and example of Jesus in mind will help our members

Must create a policy.
